small picks just to have a little euro cup action...i rarely bet euro cups with any significant stakes

Valencia vs PSG
- both teams in top form. Valencia nice away win last weekend and should have beaten Barca at home before that. Spanish teams dominate French teams at home, 10-3-0 L13 in Champions League. PSG far too dependant on Ibra to seriously challenge in this competition so if Valencia can control him they will win.

Valencia -1/4 .4u to win .44u

Celtic vs Juve
- one clear trend when Scots meet Italians is the under which is 10-2 L12. Celtic of course normally involved in these games and are 6-1 under in last 7 vs Italians with a total of 9 goals scored in those 7 games. Juve 8-1 under in last 9 away in CL

Celtic/Juve under 2.5 .42u to win .3u

a 2nd right through the keeper...this time through his legs. 2 shots on goal both infinitely saveable and it's 0-2. game over :(

double U de Chile with Pumas 1u to win .82u

U de Chile a class above Lara but with 4 starters missing. Still shouldn't have trouble with Venezuelans in Copa LIbertadoes. PUMAS using regulars vs Celaya who are getting destroyed in this competition. nice parlay shot

Wed night Libertadores

Real Garcilaso v Ind Santa Fe
- neither team used to intl cups but can't ignore Garcilaso's home winning % and no Colombian club should be less than +1/4 away from home as their league is constantly getting weaker. Santa Fe just snapped a 12 match winless streak away while Garcilaso one loss (26-2-1) in last 29 home games.

Real Garcilaso pk 1.25u to win 1u & ML .25u to win .40u

have a 10/1 future on Dortmund to win Europe but otherwise not betting CL today....for those with a bet365 account you can get a free £50 in-running bet on United match

Ajax v Steaua
- i like Ajax in this one. They had a terrible 1-1 result vs Roda but put 19 shots on frame and dominated in attack. Steaua not back to regular football yet so come into match only playing friendlies in past 2 months and with rather poor results with losses to Celtic, Ferencvaros, Qabala, Dinamo, and Mlada Boleslav. Dutch teams with a great record at home vs Romanians unbeaten in 8 and 4 straight wins by 9/1 margin. Huge motivation as this tournament's final is in Ajax's home stadium and club has sold out this match. For a team that hasn't played a competitive match for over 2 months that will be a big factor.

Ajax -1 1.08u to win 1u

What in the right fuck was giggs thinking not having a go at that ball at the end of the match...?...that was laid to him on a platter....did he think he played for Arsenal and had to dribble thru 3 men in the box strait to the back of the net?

yep...was already out my chair as i could see him laying into a left footer far post for the winner.

will still contend de gea is the best shot stopper in the world. what he does with the actual save (like laying it front of the net) and his inability to deal with crosses is a joke but god damn he can stop a shot. that save in 60th was ridiculous

was that the one with his foot falling backwards?...cuz even i admit that was nuts...he's good still needs some years on him before i can call him top class...i thought buffon was pretty sharp the other day as well as this season...

yes. going to his right to stop the shot from i think it was ozil or sammy k. stupid save really

funny i was listening to sirius soccer this week talking about united's "goalkeeping woes" and said that if you take away VDS and Schmeichel they haven't had a top class keeper in 50 years. that's like saying the Bulls are shit in last 3 decades without Rose, Pippen, and Jordan...

The Strongest vs Arsenal
- nearly an automatic play for me when Argentinians play in altitude, especially big altitude. They've won just 3x in altitude out of 25 matches played in 1650m+ height in past 5 years and just 7 wins out of 53 if you go back to 2003.

The Strongest 1.07u to win 1u

in all fairness, the dutchman and the dane were two of the top keepers ever...truly wish we had van in his prime for the 2010 WC....not that, that would have helped robben's two breakaway flubs...!!!.... utd. was spoiled with them 2 although as a red hater i have to admit i wouldn't mind de gea eventually turning into a barthez or roy carroll....ps. did you know schmeichel never lost a manchester derby? blues won and drew his sole season with them against utd. and well i don't have to tell you all the results against us when he was in your net
